Janice Dean left Fox News earlier this year. Since then, however, she has shared a few words concerning another Fox News alum: Megyn Kelly. She also expressed what inspired her to speak out.

Weather Anchor Janice Dean Walked Away From Fox News In July 2026 Over Health Concerns

Dean joined Fox News back in early 2004. Notably, she served as the network’s lead meteorologist for both Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network. She also served as a morning weather anchor and co-host on Fox & Friends.

Dean retired from the network in July 2026. At the time, she shared that it was due to her ongoing battle with multiple sclerosis. She had been diagnosed with the autoimmune disease back in 2005.

Speaking with Page Six, Dean recently discussed another Fox News alum: Megyn Kelly. Feeling that she normally keeps to herself concerning Kelly’s comments, she felt that the podcast hostess went too far after attacking the MS community.

As Dean shared, “I’m sick of her using her platform to put people down… She goes to the lowest denominator and constantly put women down.”

Dean Also Discussed Megyn Kelly In A Number Of Posts On Social Media

This was in reference to comments Kelly made on her podcast series after Christina Applegate revealed that she had been misdiagnosed with MS. As previously reported, at the time, Kelly discussed the actress serving as the “face” of the MS community, saying she made “a cottage industry of talking about her MS.”

In addition, Dean took to X to discuss Kelly’s comments, writing, “I’ve kept my mouth shut for a long time about #meangirl @megynkelly. She used to be one of my closest friends and then she ghosted me after she endorsed @andrewcuomo for mayor and I told her she broke my heart. Her comments about @1capplegate are disgusting.”

Highlighting her own health battles, Dean shared, “Having #MS for over 20 years, she knows how long it took for doctors to diagnose me. I think Christina is brave for telling the truth and I’m grateful she became a voice for so many of us. I will have much more to say about this when I’m well enough.”

Dean later followed this up with a series of other posts. At one point, she shared, “Oh yeah. In case you don’t know, I have #multiplesclerosis and I am one of those loser people @megynkelly refers to as wanting to talk about my diagnosis to help others.”
