Gay MAGA activist obsessed with “voter fraud” allegedly helped others fraudulently vote

Scott Presler, a co-founder of Gays for Trump whose MAGA activism has focused on alleged voter fraud, reportedly let several out-of-state GOP operatives use his Pennsylvania address to vote in the key swing state.

Legal experts say Presler, who has often repeated the Republican Party’s unproven allegations that Democrats register voters who are not legally eligible to vote, may have violated the very election laws he has accused others of violating, according to a report in The Bulwark.

According to the outlet, voter registration records show that three people outside of the Presler family used the address of the Beaver County, Pennsylvania, home Presler purchased in April 2024 to register to vote in the state and cast ballots during the 2024 election cycle.

One of those people was Heather Langley, a political consultant who was registered to vote in Florida in 2020 and 2025. According to The Bulwark, Presler’s Early Vote Action PAC paid Langley from August to November 2024. At that time, Early Vote Action reportedly listed her home address as being in Crestview, Florida. According to the outlet, social media posts suggest that Langley relocated to Louisiana by January 2025 — roughly two months after voting in Pennsylvania in November 2024. She calls Louisiana her home state.

Oklahoma-based conservative social media influencer Alfred Ashley also reportedly used Presler’s address to cast a ballot in the 2024 election. According to The Bulwark, days after sharing a September 20, 2024, X post in which he described himself as “an out of state resident” who was ineligible to register to vote in the state, Ashley posted that he had moved to Pennsylvania “JUST to vote for Trump.” (Both posts appear to have been deleted.) On November 11, 2024, Ashley reportedly posted that he was driving back to Oklahoma.

Joe Petriella, who reportedly listed a Virginia address on campaign contribution forms, also registered to vote in Pennsylvania using Presler’s address. The Bulwark reports that Petriella’s X account listed his location as Pennsylvania between October 2024 and March 2025, but changed it to “DC” by the end of March 2025.

The outlet also identified Braden Sisk as having used Presler’s Pennsylvania address to register to vote in June of this year and having already voted in the midterms. On social media, Sisk has reportedly described himself as a Washington state resident, and on October 18 he posted that he was going “back home to Washington State, chase ballots, and help save your state!”

Presler himself has continued to list a Virginia address on campaign contribution forms, and in an August 2025 X post admitted that he had been away from his Beaver County address “since December,” the Bulwark reports.

In a statement, Early Vote Action claimed that Presler “has had friends find residency in his home while actively working and residing in Pennsylvania.”

“EVA PAC takes its voter registration compliance with law very seriously,” the statement continued, according to The Bulwark. “Several of the residents that once lived in Scott’s home have now since departed and found residence elsewhere in other states—yet as you’ve shown, the PA voter rolls continue to reflect their names here. It is pure madness that PA can’t clean up their voter rolls.”

Pennsylvania state law requires voters to reside in the state and their intended district for at least 30 days before an election and clearly states that “a person shall not be considered to have gained a residence in any election district of this State into which he comes for temporary purposes only, without the intention of making such election district his permanent place of abode.”

Adam Bonin, a Philadelphia election attorney, told the Bulwark that under Pennsylvania law, Langley would clearly be considered “someone who has traveled for work and is staying someplace for work” and not a resident of the state.

The purpose of state election residency law, former Pennsylvania deputy secretary of state for election and administration Marian Schneider told the outlet, is to avoid “somebody coming to Pennsylvania, voting in Pennsylvania one year, then going back to their other state and voting in that state the next year.”

She suggested that the people using Presler’s address to vote in the state “are gaming the system.”

“Which is exactly what they’ve been railing about,” she added, “and that’s what’s annoying.”
