Kroy Biermann Jr. Faces Serious Charges Amid Alleged Sexual Assault
Kim Zolciak and her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, have been in the headlines for a while amid a bitter divorce and custody battle. Kim’s two adult children from previous relationships are Bravo stars. However, the former couple has kept their four minor children, Kroy Jr., 15, Kash, 14, and twins Kaia and Kane, 12, out of the public eye.

But that changed on August 17, 2026. Kroy Biermann Jr. was arrested and sent to jail while awaiting a court appearance. The 15-year-old was accused by a classmate of forcing oral sex and other acts on her. Despite being a minor, he’s facing charges as an adult.
Kim Zolciak’s son was indicted this week on seven felony charges for the alleged assault. He was charged with aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, false imprisonment and three counts of sexual battery against a child under the age of 16.

Kim Zolciak’s Jailed Son Brags About Athletic Scholarships To Get Out Of Jail
Kroy Biermann Jr. has been held at the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center since his arrest and he wants out. His lawyer petitioned the judge to release the 15-year-old and cited his stellar academic career and athletic scholarships as good character references.
His father spent eight seasons in the NFL as a linebacker and quarterback with the Atlanta Falcons. He signed a brief contract with the Buffalo Bills but was cut before the season began. Kroy Biermann never played football again.
But his son is a star player on his high school’s team. Kroy Biermann Jr. is “a high school student in good standing who has demonstrated strong academic achievement and is receiving scholarships for his athletic achievements,” according to the documents his lawyer filed in a request for bond, according to TMZ.

The documents also pointed out that the alleged incident happened in April and Kroy Biermann Jr. didn’t try to flee to escape the charges. Kim Zolciak released a statement after her son’s arrest claiming that he passed a polygraph. However, polygraphs aren’t admissible in court.
Kroy Biermann Jr. remains in jail for now but could be released any day now. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
