Michael Jackson’s Kids Banned From ‘Neverland’ Fun, Reason

Television

Michael Jackson left behind three children when he passed away in 2009, but there were still so many unanswered questions. As they have grown up, the kids have gone on their own paths, but Michael’s only daughter, Paris, is speaking up. She is revealing how she and her brothers were essentially banned from Neverland, but what was the reason? Keep reading for the deep reason behind it.

Michael Jackson Had A Deep Love For Kids

It was often a hot topic how much Michael Jackson loved children. Then, he had his own, and everything changed. He was fiercely protective of Prince, Paris, and Blanket, even making them wear masks when they were out in public. Michael never wanted the paparazzi to catch a glimpse, although he did want them to travel and have experiences. What was fascinating was that the King of Pop has his own theme park at his Neverland Ranch. Therefore, the kids did not have to go far for fun.

However, as Michael’s daughter, Paris recently revealed on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast that Neverland was frequently off-limits. He made it very clear that the rides and attractions were for “underprivileged” and “terminally ill” children:

“It was made very, very clear that all of the attractions there were not for us. That did not belong to us. That was for underprivileged children and children that were terminally ill that couldn’t go to Disneyland, and that continued on even when we were, because at one point we wouldn’t stay in one place for more than a year and we’d hotel hopped a lot, and so it was… if we’re living in Vegas and it’s like, ‘Okay if you’re good, you can go to Circus Circus on weekends,’ or like we were like some random place in Virginia: ‘If you’re good, we can go to Chuck E. Cheese this weekend.’”

They were also homeschooled, as there was a room in their house specifically for learning. Moreover, Michael Jackson enforced rules in the household, as the kids had chores they had to complete. As long as they were completed, they could then go and have some fun, such as going to the movies and enjoying rides, presumably at Neverland.

Television and film were also off-limits unless it was on mute and for educational purposes. Again, they could indulge if they had completed all of their assigned tasks, so Michael was strict about the rules.

Fans Appreciate Michael & Paris’ Connection

After Paris Jackson spoke about her father, Michael Jackson, and the limitations he enforced, listeners had a new appreciation. Not only did they find Paris extremely well-spoken, but they felt that she was a positive reflection of Michael:

  • Michael’s children are a true testament and reflection of what a great person he was.
  • What a woman. So much depth and maturity.
  • The amount of pain she went through. Its not for the faint heart. Im soooo proud of all his kids. They are amazing people
  • Key info, homeschooling, no TV, more time in nature. MJ knew something that we refuse to see but we continue doing it!

It’s fascinating that Michael Jackson had this children’s wonderland, three kids, but he reminded them that many were less fortunate than them. More importantly, Paris has carried that with her all these years and continues to share it with the world.
