DWTS is off to a great start, however, as always, there are already fans accusing couples of having too much chemistry. This season, people are targeting Jenna Dewan and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, for being inappropriate. Now, Jenna’s fiancé, Steve Kazee, is speaking up about it all. Keep reading to find out what he has to say about his wife and her dancing partner.
DWTS Couple Getting Scrutinized
After working hard on DWTS, Jenna Dewan and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy are under fire for having too much chemistry. Of course, these accusations come because they both have long-term partners, which makes people do a double take when they see how well they dance together. Jenna is engaged to Steve Kazee while Val is married to DWTS pro, Jenna Johnson.
The couple have been working hard and have been consistently increasing their scores. From a 19/30 during the first episode to a whopping 24 points for the most recent episode, the ‘chemistry’ they are accused of is clearly working.
However, despite claims that they are being inappropriate, Steve is standing up for his fiancée, US Weekly reports.
- “They don’t have chemistry,” he starts. He continues, saying, “They have too much chemistry. They have chemistry in the wrong places. Make up your minds,” he continues about all the accusations. “Y’all really got too much time on your hands. The spouses are unbothered stay hatin.”
However, he doesn’t stop there. Clearly, Steve is feeling pretty protective of his fiancée, warning everyone to ‘put respect’ on her name.
- “Also put respect on my queens name and at least pronounce her name correctly when you try to slander her,” he says.
Praising His Fiancée
Despite all of this going on, Steve is not only defending his fiancée and her partner, but he is full of praise for her as well. It seems that he is incredibly impressed by just how much work she is willing to put into this show week after week.
- “I could not be more in awe of this incredible woman,” he said after the Yacht Rock Night performance. “The amount of literal blood, sweat, and tears she has poured into this journey over the last month has been beyond amazing to witness. The hours, the bruises, the blisters, the exhaustion, the nerves, the constant push to get better.”
Clearly Jenna Dewan is lucky and has found the most supportive fiancé possible! Of course, only time will tell if their chemistry will take them all the way to the win!
