The prosecutor on the case revealed during court hearings that the teen was already under court supervision for a previous incident. He allegedly had sex with an underage female relative and filmed it.

Despite the bombshell allegations, he was released on bond. KJ Biermann returned to court this week to plead not guilty to the charges stemming from the April incident. He’s also fighting to transfer the case from adult court to juvenile court due to his age. His next court appearance is October 14, for a formal indictment.

Ariana is nearly a decade older than KJ. Kroy and Kim have three other children: Kash, 14, and twins Kaia and Kane, 12. Ariana stars on Bravo’s Next Gen NYC. She made her first public comments since her brother’s arrest.

Ariana Biermann attended Page Six‘s Virtual Reali-Tea Awards in New York City on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. She won Breakout Star and alluded to her brother’s troubles in her acceptance speech.

“Thank you all for watching ‘Next Gen,’ I’ve obviously lived a lot of my life on reality TV,” Ariana Biermann said. “It comes with amazing things and some not-so-great things, but Bravo took a chance on me, and I feel so honored.”

She also gave her mom, Kim Zolciak, a special shout-out. “Thank you for just believing me and supporting me through all of the journeys I’ve been on this [Season 2]. And thank you again … thank you to my mom [Kim Zolciak] for making this possible. I love you guys all so much!”

Ariana Biermann didn’t directly address her brother’s arrest. However, she indicated that it’s been a difficult time for her and her family. Next Gen NYC hasn’t officially been renewed for Season 3 yet, but insiders say it’s a sure thing.
