With an hour’s notice and a bat of her eyelashes, Charli XCX ushered in her third single from Music, Fashion, Film, “Wink Wink.” The song gets a music video directed by frequent collaborator Aidan Zamiri, in which the pop star swears she’s “not a bad girl anymore.” Check it out below.
“Wink Wink” arrives after the headline-baiting single “Rock Music” and the more traditionally pop-indebted “SS26.” Charli has denied that Music, Fashion, Film is a rock album, but it does seem like she got plenty of inspiration beyond the dance floor—or at least in terms of who she rang up to pose for its cover.
Music, Fashion, Film is out July 24 via Atlantic. It’s her second full-length album of 2026 following the Wuthering Heights soundtrack, and the official follow-up to Brat. Charli has a short arena tour planned to celebrate her upcoming release as well as a number of headlining sets at music festivals, including Lollapalooza and Outside Lands.
