Donald Trump recently told a crowd that he has “much better blood” because his uncle taught at MIT.
He also called himself “real smart” because he attended the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, despite having said moments earlier that he knows “a lot of stupid people that went to a good college.”

On social media, some pointed out that Trump also lied about his uncle being MIT’s longest-serving professor, and others simply expressed horror that the president of the United States is exhibiting this behavior and that the country has accepted it as normal. Others mocked him for bragging about being smart, saying that smart people don’t actually talk about their intelligence.
There’s also the fact that Trump went to Wharton as an undergraduate, not for business school, and that he transferred there from Fordham University, reportedly with the help of a family connection.
