Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard, Brian Kelley Reunite at CMA Fest After Years-Long Hiatus
Country songwriter Tyler Hubbard couldn’t get this hook out of his head—literally.
The 39-year-old—known for penning songs for his band Florida Georgia Line—struggled to get a fishing hook dislodged from his scalp during a camping trip with wife Hayley Hubbard and their kids Olivia Rose, 8, Luca Reed, 6 and Atlas Roy, 5.
In footage shared to Instagram July 26, Hayley inspected the grisly flesh wound as Tyler quipped, “Breakfast had to wait.”
And though Tyler admitted that the injury did “hurt so bad,” the “Wish You Would” artist managed to keep his cool under pressure. As one of his three kids asked more questions about the incident off camera, Tyler explained, “It’s probably not bleeding a lot, but it might bleed a little.”
For her part, Hayley, also 39—who stepped in as the impromptu surgeon—took a moment to understand exactly where the barb had gotten stuck, though Tyler didn’t explain the backstory behind the accident.
