André 3000 to Perform New Blue Sun at Big Ears Festival 2024

André 3000 is bringing his New Blue Sun Live show to Big Ears Festival 2024. André 3000 and his ensemble are slated for five unique, intimate concerts across four days in Knoxville, Tennessee. See the residency schedule below.

Big Ears Festival takes place from March 21-24. Performers at the festival include Adrianne Lenker, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Yasmin Williams, Sam Amidon, Colin Stetson, Joanna Sternberg, Rhiannon Giddens, Thurston Moore, and Digable Planets. In addition, Steve Keene—known for his work with Pavement, Silver Jews, and more—will give daily painting performances.

André 3000 surprised fans with New Blue Sun—his first-ever solo album—last fall. The flute-heavy, ambient jazz record includes contributions from Mia Doi Todd, Matthewdavid, V.C.R, Diego Gaeta, and more.

André 3000 and his live ensemble—Carlos Niño, Nate Mercereau, Surya Botofasina, and Deantoni Parks—are currently touring the record in North America.
