Sleep Announce First Album in Eight Years

Sleep has more in store than an upcoming tour and comic book. The stoner doom-metal gods are set to drop Hempispheres (get it?) on October 30 via Third Man. The follow-up to 2018’s The Sciences marks the band’s first with its new lineup of Bubba Dupree and Dale Crover, who join longtime frontman Al Cisneros. Hempispheres will include the already-released single “Have Spacesuit Will Travel” and a new one, “The Morrisist,” which you can listen to below.

Next month, Sleep head out on a long headlining tour.
