Sam Elliott reacted to Tommy Norris’ heartbreaking backstory that was just revealed on Landman.

Landman season 2, episode 4, titled “Dancing Rainbows,” revealed that Tommy abandoned his mother at the age of 14 after she broke his nose. His father, T.L., was missing from their lives when he kept leaving for long-distance jobs.

During an interview with People, Elliott admitted that Tommy was negatively impacted by the behavior of his parents, with the actor calling his character a “fractured man.” One of the most prominent storylines during Landman season 2 will be Tommy and T.L. attempting to heal their relationship.
