Watch Audrey Hobert Talk to a Redwood Tree in New “Phoebe” Video

Music

At one of three sold-out shows in New York last week, Audrey Hobert prefaced a performance of “Phoebe” by explaining how much the Who’s the Clown? song means to her, admitting she sometimes cries during it. It was only a matter of time before the fan (and apparently artist) favorite track got its own video—and that time is now. Check out the “Phoebe” clip—where Hobert heads to the beach, mountains, and forest on her own—below.

Although Hobert’s debut album Who’s the Clown? dropped in early 2025, she’s been slow-dripping amazing music videos from the LP ever since. These include self-directed visuals for “Silver Jubilee,” “Sex and the City,” and “Thirst Trap,” among others. She’s also brought live renditions of album’s track list to NPR’s Tiny Desk, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and most recently, Jimmy Fallon, where she twirled her way through a performance of “Chateau.”

Find out why It’s a Good Time to Get Into Audrey Hobert.
