If you were wondering just when Gamecraft Studios’ upcoming throwback FPS Vampire Hunters launches into Early Access, wonder no more. The game is now available on Steam in Early Access, complete with a launch trailer.

The team at Gamecraft are using the Early Access period to focus on the rogue-lite elements of Vampire Hunters, as according to the team, “it’s very important for us to iterate with the players before reaching the final version.”

“If you enjoyed the Steam Next Fest Vampire Hunters demo, you’re in for a treat with our first Early Access release,” says Tiago Zaidan, CEO and lead producer at Gamecraft Studios. “We’ve added a whole second level to the game with an insane boss fight. Two Nightmare levels with crazy fun challenges. Constellations – game modifiers that add some neat twists to the core gameplay – are now enabled.”

Inspired by the Poncle’s hit Vampire Survivors, Vampire Hunters has you stack weapons until you end up with absurd, impossibly awesome builds. Test your firepower, die, then try again with rogue-lite elements, insane-yet-useful upgrades, and addicting “just one more try” gameplay. Relentless action, blood-pumping music, and a darkly steampunk world combine to deliver a “gun-crazy, fantastical FPS experience”.
