Lucy Dacus Shares New Video for “Night Shift”: Watch

The first-ever clip for the fan-favorite from 2018’s Historian

Lucy Dacus has shared a new video for her Historian single “Night Shift.” The Jane Schoenbrun–directed video features the actors Jasmin Savoy Brown (Yellowjackets) and E.R. Fightmaster (Grey’s Anatomy, Shrill), and was shot at the Poconos Palace in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Check it out below.

Dacus originally released Historian in 2018; Matador is putting out a fifth-anniversary edition on red vinyl on May 26, featuring Dacus’ first draft of the album’s artwork.

In the years since Historian, Dacus has dropped a 2019 EP and the LP Home Video in 2021. Earlier this year, Boygenius—her group with Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker—shared several new songs and announced their debut LP, The Record, due out March 31.
