HBO has announced the new slate of films in their “Music Box” series, featuring documentaries on Alanis Morissette, DMX, Kenny G, Juice WRLD, and Robert Stigwood, the man behind Saturday Night Fever. The first, Jagged, was directed by Alison Klayman and focuses on the release of Morissette’s 1995 debut Jagged Little Pill; it debuts November 18 at 8 p.m. ET. Check out the teaser trailer below.

In September, Morissette issued a statement explaining why, despite her initial involvement, she would not be promoting or attending any events in support of the film, saying: “This was not the story I agreed to tell. I sit here now experiencing the full impact of having trusted someone who did not warrant being trusted.” Morissette reissued Jagged Little Pill for its 25th anniversary last year; the album was adapted for the stage and debuted on Broadway in 2019.

HBO will air new films in the series each week through December, including: DMX: Don’t Try To Understand (November 25), Listening to Kenny G (December 2), Mr. Saturday Night (December 9), and Juice WRLD: Into the Abyss (December 16). The first “Music Box” documentary, Woodstock 99: Peace, Love, and Rage, aired in July.
