Fortnite’s latest crossover with Tron sees new items available to buy today on the Item Shop (Disney, Epic Games)

The 1982 sci-fi film Tron is the latest brand to cross over into the popular battle royal game Fortnite with a stunning new collection of outfits, skins and more.

The latest update to Fortnite sees a new batch of skins, accessories and, of course, the iconic cosmetic suit from Tron.

Joining the hunt, the ‘End of Line’ collection is now available in the item shop. Choose between a variety of player looks including Cypher, Firewall, Proxy, Datapath, Packet, Bitstream, Commandline, Upload, Io and Bandwidth, all of which include a removable helmet.

Rounding out the set, the collection includes callbacks to Tron’s most iconic gaming arenas with the Light Cycle rideable glider and Identity Disc Pickaxe and Back Bling.

Fortnite: Chapter 2 is a multiverse party where fans across the globe can access different items. The game’s previous crossovers include Terminator, Predator, The Mandalorian, and Marvel, which saw season five reach far across the multiverse plucking heroes left and right.

For those who weren’t born in the 80s and aren’t familiar with the Tron franchise, the pioneering, iconic and frankly epic 1982 sci-film starred Jeff Bridges as a computer hacker who is abducted into the digital world and forced to participate in gladiatorial games where his only chance of escape is with the help of a heroic security program.

A sequel to the iconic 80s film was released back in 2010 called TRON: Legacy starring Garrett Hedlund and an even older, more handsome version of Jeff Bridges. There have also been rumours of a third Tron movie on the way starring Jared Leto.

Season five of Fortnite is scheduled to end on 15 March with the new season starting the very next day. Fortnite is free-to-play on PC, iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and S.
