Tkay Maidza—the Zimbabwe-born and Australia-raised rapper and singer—has released a video for a new song called “Kim.” It features Georgia rapper Yung Baby Tate and its video is a tribute to Lil’ Kim, Kim Kardashian (including an homage to Kanye’s “Bound 2” video), and Disney cartoon character Kim Possible. Watch it below.

“The idea for the song came from Kim Possible, an iconic figure from my childhood—she always came out on top,” Maidza said in a statement. “I wanted to make a song to remind those who question me that I will always figure it out. And once we started planning the video, we had the idea to add iconic moments from other famous Kims in my lifetime.”

Tkay Maidza released her Last Year Was Weird, Vol. 2 EP in 2020. Read Pitchfork’s Rising interview “Tkay Maidza Is Finally Feeling It.”
