MBFFL: New Season Documenting Whitney’s Baby Journey?

As anyone who has been watching this show on TLC for years knows, a baby journey storyline for Whitney Way Thore in upcoming episodes is a storyline that essentially writes itself. Teasers show Whitney looking into sperm donors with pictures, and she is adamant about being able to raise a child completely on her own.

Whitney even jokes in recent My Big Fat Fabulous Life spoilers that she doesn’t even have to take these people to dinner first. Instead, she has the freedom to pick the donor she wants and go from there. In typical Whitney fashion, she even compared looking for donors to online shopping.

My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Fans Of The Show Don’t Think Whitney Way Thore Would Make A Good Mother

While this upcoming baby storyline is certainly something that will get viewers tuning in for the new episodes, many My Big Fat Fabulous Life viewers think that Whitney has no business going down this route, let alone actually being a mother, and many commenters did not hold back.

  • One person recently wrote, “From the previews she pursues having a baby, again. We all know she can’t take care of her pets, doesn’t scoop the litter box, is not kind to anyone and has a serious issue with putting others above her own needs. I wish this show had been canceled long ago.”
  • A second person said, “She doesn’t really want a kid. Just a way to keep show going. Get healthy…failed. get a man…failed. have a baby….failed. been there done that. But she’s gotta have some reseon for show to be on.”
  • A third person said, “She has to find a man first, which she hasn’t been too succesful at, up to this point. She could, of course, use a sperm bank. But at her age and weight, I don’t expect her to successfully get pregnant. I suppose she could find a surrogate. But as gross and nasty as she is, I’m not sure how many women would be stepping up for that job.”
  • Another person wrote, “I truly think it’s just a pretend storyline for the TV show. All indications on her Instagram lives where she shows herself personally and through the show, indicate she has no intention of raising children.”

Do you think Whitney truly wants to be a mom, or, is this added drama for the sake of next season’s storyline? Let us know in the comments below, and be sure to catch the new season of My Big Fat Fabulous Life when it premieres on Tuesday, July 1, at 9/8c, only on TLC.
