However, inside sources claim that the two got into a “heated exchange” during a recent, star-studded event. Since then, sources have also been weighing on the relationship between the two stars over the past few years.
Sources Shared Different Stories Concerning Justin Bieber & Usher At A Recent Oscars Afterparty
Bieber and Usher have quite a history together. Back when he was getting his start as a singer, Bieber was signed by Usher after winning a bidding war. He then mentored him throughout his early career.
In years past, Usher was known for being protective of his young protege. However, reports have come out that there was a bit of drama between the two during a recent Oscars party. With Usher being described as possessing “energy and anger,” it was claimed that he and Bieber got into a “heated exchange.”
Some sources alluded to the two getting into a fist fight. Other sources claimed that there was no physical contact but still described things as intense.
The outlet also shared that sources claimed that Justin has been trying to erase people from his past. That said, it’s still unclear as to what the fight was about. It’s also unclear at this time if cops got involved due to the fight.
A Few Famous Faces Appeared At The West Hollywood Event (& Could Have Seen The Alleged Scene)
Interestingly, the fight could have had a lot of famous witnesses. The party was said to be hosted by music icons Beyoncé and Jay-Z at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. The guest list was said to have included Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, Michael B. Jordan, Ryan Coogler, Timothee Chalamet, Kylie Jenner, Austin Butler, Jacob Elordi, Emma Stone, Emma Watson, Kris Jenner, Sofia Vergara, and Vin Diesel, among others. Justin’s wife, Hailey Bieber, was also said to be in attendance.
That said, the event was described as being a private one and measures were taken to ensure what happened at the party stayed at the event. As noted by Men’s Journal, even though word still got out over the alleged confrontation, the party had a strict no-phones policy.
Notably, this isn’t the first time that the two appeared to have trouble with each other. As the outlet noted, both Usher and Bieber appeared to have unfollowed each other on Instagram early last year.
However, things obviously haven’t always been so tense between the two. Usher was known for performing at Justin’s wedding to Hailey back in 2018. For its part, TMZ noted that the last time the two were seen out together was at at Coeur d’Alene Lake in Idaho in 2022.
