Princess Iman Of Jordan celebrated her royal wedding on Sunday, March 12. The princess, 26, tied the knot with Jameel Alexander Thermiotis, 28, in a stunning ceremony, fit for royalty. The Royal Hashemite Court shared congratulations for the newlyweds in a post on Instagram ahead of the ceremony. “The Royal Hashemite Court extends its sincere congratulations to Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah on this occasion, and wishes Her Royal Highness Princess Iman and Mr. Thermiotis a lifetime of happiness,” they said. 1. Iman is the first daughter of the King & Queen Of Jordan

Iman is the oldest daughter of King Abdullah II and his wife Queen Rania of Jordan. The King, 61, and Queen, 52, have an older son Crown Prince Hussein, 28, and a younger daughter Princess Salma, 22, and son Prince Hashem. Iman was born in September 1996. Before her first birthday, she often went by the title “Her Serene Highness,” before changing to “Her Royal Highness.”

Hussein walked his little sister down the aisle and shared a heartfelt post on Instagram to celebrate her special day. “Grateful for all the precious memories we share and overjoyed to see you celebrate your wedding today,” he wrote. “I wish you, dear Iman and Jameel, a lifetime of blessings and happiness together.”

2. Her engagement was announced in July 2022

Iman and Jameel’s engagement was shared by the Royal Hashemite Court in an excited announcement back in July. “The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce the engagement of Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Abdullah II to Mr. Jameel Alexander Thermiotis, on Tuesday, 5 July 2022, in the presence of Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah, as well as Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II, and Princess Salma bint Abdullah II, in addition to members of Mr. Thermiotis’ family,” a press release said. “The Royal Hashemite Court extends its sincere congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Iman and Mr. Thermiotis on this occasion and wishes them a lifetime of happiness.”

3. Her husband co-founded Outbound Ventures

While he’s marrying into a royal family, Jameel is a very finance-savvy person, and he’s a co-founder of the investment service Outbound Ventures along with Luis Gonzalez. The company is dedicated to help fund projects for millennials and members of Gen Z. “Consumer brands that embody the millennial mindset – brands that ‘grew up digital’ and focus on sustainability, well-being, quality, and convenience,” the manifesto on the company website lists. “Companies with novel applications of technology that enhance the interaction between brands and consumers.”

4. She studied at Parsons in New York

When it came time to go to college, Iman opted to attend an American university. Like her brother Hussein, she first attended Georgetown University, but she opted to transfer to the Parsons School of Design in New York City to get a bachelor’s degree in business administration, per Harper’s Bazaar Arabia. 

5. She was recognized for her athletic abilities during her teen years

As a student at the International Academy Amman, Iman was celebrated for her skills in different sports at the school. She was mainly an equestrian, according to Harper’s Bazaar. In fact, she was so good in her sports that she was voted most athletic in her graduating class.
