On Tuesday, Princess Eugenie took to Instagram to announce that she and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, are expecting another child this summer. The news was shared along with a photo that shows Eugenie standing with her son August Brooksbank, who will be two in February.

Buckingham Palace confirmed the news in a statement. “Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank are pleased to announce they are expecting their second child this summer,” it read. “The family are delighted and August is very much looking forward to being a big brother.”

Eugenie’s mother, Sarah Ferguson, commented on the post to show her excitement. “Granny heaven,” she said. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, the husband of Eugenie’s sister Princess Beatrice, also commented on the post with heart emojis.

Eugenie and Jack made their last public appearance with the royal family during the annual Christmas day walk from Sandringham to a nearby Norfolk church, and earlier this month she visited the Wilson’s School in London to open a new center. This week, Eugenie attended a panel at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where she talked about raising her son with an enthusiasm for climate action.

“My son’s going to be an activist from two years old, which is in a couple of days,” she said, according to the Daily Mail. “Everything is for them, right? Every decision we now make has to be about how August is going to be able to live his life.”
