2021 is already going to be the best year of Stassi Schroeder’s life, as she’s welcoming a baby girl in early January. The former reality star is showing her nine month bump as she counts down to delivery.
Stassi Schroeder is just a few weeks away from becoming a first time mother. The former Vanderpump Rules star had a rollercoaster 2020, but she definitely will be having a Happy New Year when her little girl is due to arrive in the first week of Jan. 2021. Stassi shared an Instagram stories mirror selfie on Dec. 22, absolutely glowing while showing off her bare baby bump. She’s in the home stretch at 38 weeks pregnant.
“It’s official. In the clear for a Capricorn baby,” Stassi wrote on the selfie, where she could be seen wearing a black sports-bra like top and low-slung leggings to show off her bare midsection. The birth sign Capricorn falls between Dec. 21 and Jan. 21, so Stassi’s already in the window for her little goat. Most women give birth between the 39th and 40th week of pregnancy, so Stassi’s going to be a mom very soon.
It’s been quite a year for the 32-year-old former Bravo star. She was fired from Vanderpump Rules on June 9 after audio from 2018 surfaced of her joking about calling the police on Black former Pump Rules star Faith Stowers and accusing her of a crime she didn’t commit. Stassi apologized for her actions after the podcast audio surfaced and stressed she wasn’t racist, but it was too late to save her job.
While the firing had to have come as a blow, one week later Stassi and fiance Beau Clark revealed the joyous news that she was pregnant. “Stassi and Beau will be welcoming their first child the first week in January and are grateful and eager to begin the next chapter of their lives as parents,” their rep Steve Honig said in a June 16 statement.
Stassi and Beau had to pivot when it came to their big Sept. 2020 destination wedding in Italy when COVID-19 came along and limited travel and gatherings beginning in March 2020. Instead, the pair decided to tie the knot in small L.A. backyard ceremony just before their original Oct. 7, 2020 Italian wedding date would have been.
Stassi shared an Instagram video from the ceremony on Oct. 7, noting “Today would’ve been our wedding day. We went and did it anyway,” noting, “Married sept 2020. Hopefully Italian dream wedding oct 2021.” It’s unclear when in September their secret wedding went down, but it was simple and intimate. Stassi wore a tight white tank dress that showed off her already large baby belly, with a longer blazer-like shirt over it, while Beau donned a light blue button-up shirt. An officiant proclaimed them husband and wife, and the couple kissed, then Beau bent down to rub and kiss Stassi’s baby bump. Stassi and Ben have been married for three months now, and in a few weeks they’ll be parents as well!
