Lenny Kravitz may still be looking for the right partner to share his late-night workouts and leather-clad gym style, but daughter Zoë Kravitz is all set to walk down the aisle with Channing Tatum.

Lenny, 60, let slip on the BBC’s Zoë Ball and Friends podcast, published Friday, when we should expect to hear those wedding bells.

“He fits and they’re in love,” the rocker and proud dad said of his future son-in-law Tatum. “We’re going to have a wedding next year.”

He called Tatum “a really great guy.”

“He was raised well,” he added. “So, you know, he’s got manners. He’s charming. He’s a soulful human being. And so he’s become part of the family quite quickly.”

This will be the second wedding for both Zoë and Tatum. She married actor Karl Glusman in June 2019, and their divorce was finalized in August 2021. Tatum was married to actor Jenna Dewan from 2009 to 2019, and they share a 10-year-old daughter. The future spouses met on the set of Zoë’s directorial debut, originally titled Pussy Island before being renamed Blink Twice. The film is set to hit theaters this August. In a November 2022 interview, she called Tatum her “protector” on set, and “just a wonderful human.”

For his part, Tatum has credited his future wife with convincing him to give up Crocs.

“She had a good argument,” he said of the uncomfortable conversation about comfortable footwear.

News of their engagement spread after Zoë was photographed sporting a new ring at a Halloween party last year.

Her dad also shared whether he plans to perform at the couple’s reception.

“I don’t think so,” he said. “[I’ll] just be hanging out.”

Lenny, who was married to Lisa Bonet from 1987 to 1993, recently shared that it’s been nine years since his last serious relationship, and that he is practicing celibacy until he finds the right partner.

Representatives for Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz did not immediately respond to Vanity Fair’s request for comment.
