Jessica Mulroney Is Posting Pictures of Meghan Markle Again

Pop Culture

After making her Instagram comeback earlier in August with a post celebrating her twin sons’ 10th birthday, Jessica Mulroney has slowly started sharing more on social media by sticking to content largely centered around her children.

But on Thursday, the stylist and former TV presenter found a way to combine her two favorite Instagram topics—her children and BFF Meghan Markle—all in one pic. Mulroney shared a photo of her son giving a big, openmouthed smile while standing behind Meghan on her wedding day, writing in the caption, “I see this and pure joy.” Mulroney’s twins, Brian and John, played a role in Meghan’s big day, arriving with her at St. George’s Chapel and helping carry her veil as she walked down the aisle before taking their seat next to their mother and sister, Ivy, in a front pew.

The stylist has only recently returned to Instagram after taking a two-month hiatus this summer, after influencer Sasha Exeter called her out for her “textbook white privilege.” Exeter alleged that Mulroney had reached out to brands claiming that Exeter had “treated [her] unfairly.” The altercation caused both ABC and CTV to sever ties with the stylist.

Page Six reported at the time that, even before this controversy, Mulroney and Meghan’s friendship was on the rocks. As a source told the outlet, “[the] row has really given Meghan the excuse she was waiting for to cut Jess off for good.” Another source added, “I don’t know what the tipping point was, but Jess has been on the outs for some time. Their friendship is definitely not what it was. And really, how can you have such a close friendship when one person is basically making a career out of the friendship?”

According to both Mulroney’s most recent Instagram post and recent Instagram comments, however, none of the above is accurate. Earlier this month, she responded to a commenter who wrote “Dumped by MeGain got you down?” by writing, “Enough of this tabloid fake news. Just stop.”
