Savannah Chrisley Says Life Is “Falling Apart” With Parents in Prison

Celebrity News, News

The latest episode of Savannah Chrisley‘s Unlocked podcast began a bit differently than others.

That’s because the Growing Up Chrisley star addressed her parents Todd and Julie Chrisley‘s prison sentencings, which they began serving on Jan. 17 before the episode’s release.

“Last week was an extremely difficult week for my family as a whole and for each of us individually,” Savannah began her Jan. 24 podcast. “We kind of had to say goodbye to my parents for somewhat, for a little bit of time, for the foreseeable future, and that was really, really, really tough. And I haven’t filmed a podcast since then.”

As she went on to clarify, the episode was filmed “prior to my life falling apart,” specifically on Jan. 12, which also happens to be Julie’s birthday.

Savannah stated that although she may seem “happy-go-lucky” during the episode—which is titled “Life, Liberty & the Pursuit of Pop-Tarts”—she attributes her positive mood to the fact that she “wasn’t faced with the reality of the situation.”
