The 1975 were the musical guests on the March 11 episode of Saturday Night Live. In keeping with the look of their recent tour, the band recreated their living room-like set on the SNL stage, where they played Being Funny in a Foreign Language tracks “I’m in Love With You” and “Oh Caroline.” Jenna Ortega hosted last night’s episode. Last night’s slot marked the 1975’s first appearance on the show since 2016. The group released Being Funny in a Foreign Language last fall. Their previous full-length, Notes on a Conditional Form, landed in 2020.

During this weekend’s show, Saturday Night Live announced that its April 1 episode will be hosted by Abbott Elementary star Quinta Brunson, with musical guest Lil Yachty.
