The Walkmen’s Walter Martin and the National’s Matt Berninger Share New Song: Listen

Music

Walter Martin, formerly of the Walkmen, has shared a new benefit single. It’s called “Loco (Quarantine Boogie)” and it’s his latest collaboration with the National’s Matt Berninger, who sings backup vocals. “Loco” also has horns from Stuart Bogie. Check out the song’s video below.

Profits from “Loco” are going to City Harvest, an organization that helps get food to New Yorkers in need, including kids facing food insecurity while they’re out of school.

“I made this song hoping to make enough of a fool of myself to inspire people to donate money to City Harvest,” Walter Martin wrote in a statement. “I hope you can laugh during these hard times and please donate what you can.”

Walter Martin released his new album The World at Night earlier this year.
