Sault Announce Date for Inaugural Live Show

The mysterious UK band will perform a new, as-yet-unreleased album at the concert

Sault, the mysterious UK music collective whose members remain anonymous, have announced a date for their inaugural live show. Over a series of cryptic posts, Sault revealed plans to play a new, as-yet-unreleased album “for the first and only time” in London on December 14. The venue has not been announced, but tickets go on sale this Monday (December 11).

This will be Sault’s first-ever performance or appearance in public since debuting in 2019 with the albums 5 and 7. A second post made by Sault today suggests that more tour dates will follow suit. “Experience each album in a different country,” it reads above the names of seven albums and locations (New York, London, Los Angeles, Canada, Germany, Paris, and Africa).

Last year, Sault shared five new albums in a password-protected folder: Aiir, 11, Earth, Today & Tomorrow, and (Untitled) God. It found the R&B group expanding upon the sounds of their breakthrough albums Untitled (Black Is) and Untitled (Rise) as well as 2021’s NINE. Though Sault have no official lineup, the group is thought to revolve around Inflo, a producer who has worked with Adele, Little Simz, and Michael Kiwanuka.
