“Invisible Stranger” released by the Chicago based duo The PondHawks, consisting of Mario Novelli and Jorie Gracen was inspired by the pandemic. The song is not only a warning to be careful but also an inspirational song filled with hope. Aside from the historical value the song will bring for years to come, it’s also a great musical composition produced with great care. It offers great harmonies, flashing synth tones, and great vocals by both Novelli and Gracen.
The Grammy nominated band has a loyal fanbase of over 600, 000 people. They have a strong social media presence and are considered one of the top indie bands on Earth. They have a reputation of visiting all different genres and telling stories within their songs that deliver messages. Their songs are radio friendly and they have a huge outreach on Reverbnation. It is not unusual to hear strong Beatle influences within their music as well.
“Invisible Stranger” has had a great impact on the world of isolation and fear that we all had to adjust to this past year. It’s poetic messages are presented in an anthemic fashion. The words seem to bounce around your head begging to come out and tell the world. This is one duo to keep watching. They are creative, great musicians and expressive lyricists. Their productions are flawless and their songs well-orchestrated. They are colorful, passionate and filled with emotion and most of all extremely authentic.
