Earlier this year, the Houston rapper released the new project Suga, which arrived amid a dispute with 1501 Certified Entertainment where she claimed the label was blocking her from releasing new music. In addition to a full-length chopped and screwed remix, Suga’s “Savage” got its own remixes by Major Lazer and Beyoncé. She’s also joined DaBaby and Ashanti on “Nasty” and Brooklyn band Phony Ppl on “Fkn Around” in recent months.
