Megan Thee Stallion announced her new album and its upcoming release date while performing in Atlanta tonight as part of her ongoing Hot Girl Summer Tour. The follow-up to 2022’s Traumazine is titled Megan and it arrives on June 28. The rapper previously described her upcoming LP as being about a “rebirth,” taking inspiration from snakes because of how they shed their skin to evolve. Check out the album’s cover artwork below.

While Megan Thee Stallion hasn’t shared a tracklist just yet for Megan, she’s been doling out quite a few serpent-themed songs lately: “Cobra,” “Hiss,” and last month’s “Boa.” She’s also shared “Not My Fault” with Reneé Rapp for the new Mean Girls movie and released a new remix of her Glorilla song “Wanna Be” featuring Cardi B.
