Matthew Dear has announced a new techno project called Brain, as Resident Advisor points out. He’s also shared “Boss,” the lead single from Brain’s forthcoming release The World EP, which arrives May 15 via Detroit label Planet E Communications. Listen to “Boss” below.
Matthew Dear has made music under multiple aliases in the past, including Jabberjaw, Audion, and False. Dear self-released his latest album Backstroke 2 last month. His most recent LP on Ghostly International was 2018’s Bunny.
