Future Islands Announce New Album As Long as You Are, Share New Song “Thrill”: Listen

Future Islands have announced their new album As Long as You Are. The follow-up to 2017’s The Far Field arrives October 9 via 4AD. In addition to the previously shared album track “For Sure,” the new record includes the new song “Thrill,” which arrives with a music video starring and created by the band’s frontman Samuel T. Herring. Find “Thrill” below.

Future Islands’ new album marks the first with drummer Mike Lowry as an official member and songwriter, joining the founding trio of Herring, William Cashion, and Gerrit Welmers. The band co-produced the new album with engineer Steve Wright.
