The gay lobby’s latest attempt to pressure pop queen Lady Gaga to drop her new song, “Stupid Love”, has officially hit the catwalk.
Stylish New Yorkers who braved the metro and the cold to make Christian Cowan’s Fall/Winter 2020/21 show on Monday were truly blessed to hear the song in its closing.
After a leak of the track radiated around Twitter last month, fans have rallied for the singer to release the “Stupid Love” officially. She even refused to belt the song out at a recent gig, much to fans’ dismay.
The British designer leapt across the pond, armed with his electric green hair dye, to pursue his fashion career.
Gaga emerged as an early supporter of his vivid designs after she stepped out in a fully glitter pink suit of his in 2014. He went onto to dress the likes of Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus and Naomi Campbell.

Christian Cowan: ‘Hope I don’t get in trouble for using “Stupid Love.”‘
Fans, however, were not impressed by Cowan’s use of the song, especially as Gaga was an early supporter of the designer, trained at Central Saint Martins, a world-renowned fashion university.
According to a screenshot of an exchange with the designer and a friend, Cowan claimed he thought the song had already come out.
“Hope I don’t get in trouble/upset her,” he wrote in an Instagram direct message, “as, obviously, she is my queen.”
Stupid love isn’t even out, it was leaked and this designer was not given permission from @ladygaga … and you think she’s not going to be upset you played it in your runway show… the leak was removed and now this is going to go viral! 😳🙄 https://t.co/wu7VD9zjBg

With no official release date pencilled in by Gaga, fans were wearisome about the usage of the song as the “LG6 era has started whether Lady Gaga likes it or not”.
