Demi Lovato knows the truth is out there after they had a “beautiful and incredible” encounter with a UFO.

The 29-year-old pop star told E! News that they had a close encounter in Joshua Tree, California.

Along the desert landscape, they saw a “blue orb” darting across the sky in an experience, they said, that “changed the way” they see the world.

“You have an inkling,” they explained, “and then all of a sudden that inkling is confirmed. It changes your reality for sure.”

“We went out into the desert in Joshua Tree and I basically saw this blue orb that was about 50ft away, maybe less,” Lovato recalled.

“It was kind of floating above the ground just, like, 10 or 15ft, and it was kind of keeping its distance from me.”

“It was a beautiful and incredible experience.”

Demi Lovato fell in ‘love’ with the idea of UFOs and aliens

The Disney Channel alum has opened up about their extraterrestrial experience ahead of their upcoming Peacock series, Unidentified With Demi Lovato. The show is slated to drop on the streaming service 30 September.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Demi Lovato said their interest in the unknown was sparked on their 28th birthday on 20 August, 2020.

In a “mind-blowing” experience for the actor, Lovato was out stargazing and they sought to make “contact” when, suddenly, “something showed up directly above us in the sky”.

“It was huge lights that made a question mark,” they recalled, “almost in the sky, and then it just, like, backed out.”

As much as such surreal experiences would shake people, the “Confident” artist fell in “love” with the eery, shrouded world of the extraterrestrial.

“The feeling that you get from these beings is so warm and loving and accepting that it’s just overwhelming joy that happens when you’re able to make contact,” Lovato said.

“When I say make contact, I just mean intentionally try to meditate and try to manifest sightings. It’s not that I’m actually, like, shaking hands with these beings — although I would love that.

“I think these beings are extremely peaceful and loving and when they show up, you can absolutely feel that concept.”
