Bandcamp Once Again Waiving Revenue to Support Artists

Music

In March, Bandcamp held a COVID-19 fundraising effort that saw the music platform forego all revenue generated by music sales for 24 hours in an effort to “put much needed money directly into artists’ pockets.” The fundraiser was the biggest sales day in Bandcamp’s history, with fans spending $4.3 million and all proceeds going to artists and labels.

Now, Bandcamp has announced it will once again waive its revenue share, this time on the first Friday of each of the next three months: May 1, June 5, and July 3. The fundraising hours are midnight to midnight Pacific each day. Learn more at Bandcamp.
