A guy came out as gay to his family during a quarantine quiz night and if your heart doesn’t race while watching it, well, we recommend seeking medical attention immediately.
Brennan Gregg took to TikTok Wednesday morning (July 1) to show the ingenious way he told his loved ones that he’s gay.
The 22-year-old Harvard graduate set-up a quiz night on Kahoot, in which ones of the questions was “Is Brennan gay?”.
“So, I decided to come out to my parents in a Kahoot quiz,” he wrote with the camera cutting to the family lounging around the living room, a cross-legged Gregg changing the question.

This gay guy came out to his parents in the best way and no, you’re crying.
His stunned parents both briefly blinked, staring at the MacBook Air screen with the question on it, as Gregg implored them both to answer: “Red, yes, blue, no.”
Gregg’s father adorably asked if he could answer the question, before saying that he’s “proud” of how he’s answered.
He then revealed the answer – yes, if you haven’t already gathered – as he enthusiastically cheered. Both parents’ phones flashed green, meaning the answer was correct, and Gregg, his father and mother high-fived.
“Brennan,” his father said, “I love you, man.” His mother watched on in glee and asked with pride: “This is your coming out?”
The video tallied more than 81,000 likes as thousands congratulated Gregg on coming out in such a creative way, and celebrating how positively his parents responded.
“Your dad being so accepting makes me happy,” one user commented. “You are very lucky to have such great parents. Make sure to love them to death!”
Another added: “This is too wholesome, you parents are amazing.”
“Award for the Best Way to Come Out in 2020 goes to you!” a TikToker said.
We can confirm this is a legitimate comment as the award is currently in transit.
