Tiger King – that Netflix docu-series that dropped just as a global, viral pandemic paralysed us all – might be in-line for a second season, according to Joe Exotic’s right-hand man, John Reinke.

Speaking to The Sun, the 54-year-old claimed that the streaming giant has “hundreds of hours” of unseen and unused footage that Netflix might turn into three more episodes.

The show’s popularity exploded when it was released in early March, sparking both a follow-up episode touching base with the cast as well as hundreds of fans spilling into the newly renamed Tiger King Zoo in Oklahoma, US, and flouting social distancing measures.

Tiger King star: New episodes will cover the further arrests made.

“There’s so much more content that needs to be in there and I know Netflix have footage for two or three more episodes,” Reinke, who left the zoo to become a mechanic before Tiger King‘s release, said.

“The network said they are going to be in touch with me about it.

“There’s still a bunch of other footage out there. Joe had a bunch of directors through the zoo at various points and they took the footage with them.

“They filmed everything and took what they had on video with them. That footage is also likely to surface at some point.”

He went onto claim that the new episodes will likely cover the avalanche of renewed investigations and arrests made since Exotic’s downfall.

“There’s quite a lot of lives been turned upside down and I really don’t think it’s over yet,” he said.

“There’s going to be more lives turned upside down out of this deal.

“I don’t think the [Federal Burerau of Invesgitation] are done investigating everything and everybody involved in this Tiger King show.

“There’s more people probably going to go down for some stuff.”
