‘Relic’ Filmmaker Natalie Erika James Set to Direct Horror Movie ‘Apartment 7A’ for Platinum Dunes

Horror

Fresh off last year’s Relic, my personal pick for the best horror movie of 2020, director Natalie Erika James will continue playing around in the genre space, THR reports tonight.

The film is titled Apartment 7A, and Natalie Erika James will be co-writing and directing for Paramount and Platinum Dunes. John Krasinski (A Quiet Place) is on board as producer.

THR notes, “Plot details are being kept in the furnace room, but it is being described as a psychological thriller.”

James is writing the script with Christian White, with an earlier draft by Skylar James.

Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller will produce for Platinum Dunes.
