MTV Movie & TV Awards 2023 – Horror Projects Are Nominated in Every Single Scripted Category!

In the wake of the Academy Awards, the MTV Movie & TV Awards 2023 are set to return this coming May, and Drew Barrymore has been announced as the host of the show.

The awards ceremony will air live on Sunday, May 7 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

The full list of nominees has been announced this morning, and various horror films including Scream VI, Smile, Nope, and M3GAN are up for awards, alongside genre shows including “Stranger Things,” “Wednesday,” “The Last of Us” and “Yellowjackets.” In fact, horror projects are nominated in every single category that they could’ve appeared in this year!
