‘Dying Light 2’ DLC “Bloody Ties” Available Now [Trailer]

Horror

Right on time, the first story-driven DLC for Techland’s Dying Light 2 in “Bloody Ties” is available now for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Priced at $9.99 USD, the launch of the DLC comes with the prerequisite trailer.

The “Bloody Ties” DLC has Dying Light 2 protagonist Aiden Caldwell venture into Carnage Hall, an opera-house-turned-gladiator-arena where ferocious warriors engage in bloodsport for fame and riches. Jump from relatively small brawls straight into Spectacles—the biggest fighting performances imaginable. In some weird warped version of an opera, players clash with the Infected and other contenders while performing various tasks to rile up the crowd and properly tell a mid-fight story.

On your journey, you will meet a wide cast of characters with rich personalities and complicated relationships that drive everything around them. Discover the stories of people such as Astrid (Carnage Hall’s showrunner), Ciro (a young, enthusiastic fighter), and Skullface (the arena’s brutal champion).

If you emerge victorious in Carnage Hall, you’ll be awarded with weapons and other goodies to show off your prestige. You’ll need some serious gear to impress the crowd, such as the magnificent Carnage Manica, a special shield capable of withstanding even the heaviest blows.

It won’t be easy, as along with other fighters, you’ll face a horde of new enemy types, like the wild Gorilla Demolisher, the dangerous Cataclysm, and the Molotov-throwing Grenadier.

Dying Light 2 is currently available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
