Dark Fantasy RPG ‘Iratus: Lord of the Dead’ Available for Free on GOG for 48 Hours

Horror

Christmas Day has come and gone, but GOG isn’t quite done with the giving. Their last giveaway for their Winter Sale is Daedalic Entertainment’s dark fantasy RPG Iratus: Lord of the Dead, which is free to claim for the next 48 hours.

As before, head on over to the website, sign up (if you haven’t already), and you’ll be able to grab the Standard Edition of the game for free.

The game stars the eponymous Iratus, a Necromancer recently freed from his millennia-long imprisonment, and is looking to do a little conquering with his army of the dead. That’s where you come in. You’ll command skeletons, zombies, banshees and more, composed of the body parts of your fallen foes.

On top of commanding an army, you’ll also be doing a little lair management. You’ll also be upgrading your armies through the use of research of secret rituals, all the while exploring underground catacombs, battling a variety of foes.

Iratus is also available on Steam, where it currently isn’t free, but has a discount thanks to Steam’s Winter Sale.
