5 of This Week’s Coolest Horror Collectibles Including McDonald’s Halloween Toys from Funko

Horror

Killer Collectibles highlights five of the most exciting new horror products announced each and every week, from toys and apparel to artwork, records, and much more.

Here are the coolest horror collectibles unveiled this week!

Scanners Shirt from Rucking Fotten

Scanners may not be David Cronenberg’s best film on the whole, but its head explosion scene has become the most recognizable moment in his cannon. Rucking Fotten has immortalized it with a mind-blowing all-over print tee.

It’s up for pre-order for $54.99 through Sunday, June 16, as part of the Cronenberg collection alongside other apparel from Scanners, Videodrome, and The Fly. They’ll ship in 6-8 weeks.

Robot Monster Blu-ray from Bayview Entertainment

Robot Monster will be released on Blu-ray on July 25 via Bayview Entertainment. It has been newly restored in 4K from 35mm 3D archival elements with frame sequential Blu-ray 3D, anaglyphic 3D (with a pair of glasses included), and standard 2D versions.

Celebrating its 70th anniversary, the 1953 sci-fi horror cult classic is also known as Monsters from Mars and Monsters from the Moon. Phil Tucker directs and Wyott Ordung writes. George Nader, Claudia Barrett, and George Barrows star.

Special features – some of which are presented in 3D – include an audio commentary, the original prologue, an interview with actor Greg Moffett, a curated presentation of vintage slides, the 1953 3D comic Adventures in 3D, a restoration demo, vintage shorts, and more.

McDonald’s Halloween McNugget Pops from Funko

Funko released a Pumpkin McNugget Pop as a New York Comic Con exclusive back in 2021, and now they’re turning four more Halloween McNugget Buddies into Pops.

McBoo, Vampire, Witch, and Mummy McNuggets are due out in September. At $11.99 a piece, they’re cheaper and easier to get than hunting down the originals.

Frankenstein & Bride of Frankenstein Shirts from Cavity Colors

Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein’s love story isn’t exactly a happy one, but Cavity Colors’ new tees are the perfect way to match with your partner while sharing your love of horror.

Designed by Anthony Petrie, the shirts are $30 each. They’re expected to ship the week of August 7.

Lords of the Deep Blu-ray from Scream Factory

Lords of the Deep is available on Blu-ray via Scream Factory exclusively in the Shout Factory webstore. Priced at $29.98, the 1989 sci-fi horror film is limited to 1,500.

Mary Ann Fisher directs from a script by Howard R. Cohen (Deathstalker) and Daryl Haney (Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood). Bradford Dillman and Priscilla Barnes star. Roger Corman executive produces in addition to making a cameo.

The film has been newly scanned in 2K from the original negative with 2.0 Mono DTS-HD Master Audio. The full Mystery Science Theater 3000 version of the film is included as a special feature.
