Ghoulies II will be released on Blu-ray on September 12 via MVD’s Rewind Collection. It comes with reversible artwork, a slipcover, and a mini poster. The first Ghoulies hits 4K UHD and Blu-ray the same day.

The 1987 horror-comedy sequel is directed by Albert Band (I Bury the Living) and written by Dennis Paoli (Re-Animator, From Beyond). Damon Martin, Royal Dano, Phil Fondacaro, J. Downing, and Kerry Remsen star. Charles Band (Puppet Master, Subspecies) executive produces.

Ghoulies II has been scanned in 2K from the interpositive, overseen by MGM, with LPCM 2.0 Stereo Audio. Special features include a making-of featurette with Band, Remsen, actor Donnie Jeffcoat, and special effects artist Gino Crognale; an introduction and interview with Paoli; and deleted scenes.

Hell House LLC Shirt from Razors in the Night

Can you survive the Abaddon Hotel? Hell House LLC deserve more recognition, and Razors in the Night knocked it out of the park with a tee that looks like a genuine souvenir. Priced at $30, the two-sided shirt is limited to 30 and will ship in 4-5 weeks.

The Haunted Mansion Plushes from Super 7

Thumb a ride with The Haunted Mansion’s hitchhiking ghosts in plush form from Super 7. The traveler Phineas is 17”, the skeleton Ezra is 17”, and the prisoner Gus is 14″.

Shipping in July, they’re $20 each.

What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? Pops from Funko

I know the Funko trend has more or less run its course, but every once in a while they surprise me. Case in point: Pop! figures for What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?, a beloved classic that doesn’t have much in the way of merchandise.

Baby Jane (Bette Davis) and Blanche Hudson (Joan Crawford), each with a black-and-white chase variant, are due out in August. They’re up for pre-order for $11.99.

The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster Blu-ray from RLJE

The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster is on VOD today, but physical media collectors will be happy to know that it’s coming to Blu-ray on August 8 via RLJE Films. Unfortunately, no special features will be included.

The modern retelling of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein marks the feature debut of writer-director Bomani J. Story. Laya DeLeon Hayes, Denzel Whitaker, Chad L. Coleman, Reilly Brooke Stith, Keith Sean Holliday, Amani Summer, and Edem Atsu-Swanzy star.
