Kate Spade New York releases chic and colourful collection for Pride 2021 in aid of The Trevor Project

Kate Spade New York has released its chic and colourful collection to celebrate Pride month.

Featuring rainbow apparel and accessories, the range from Kate Spade New York stands for “optimism and joy”.

The collection is now available from the brand’s The Rainbow Shop via katespade.co.uk or katespade.com.

The Kate Spade New York collection features a rainbow ‘Love’ t-shirt, an embroidered heart sweatshirt and a face mask set with flower and heart designs.

There’s also accessories in the Pride range including a market tote bag, camera bag and cosmetic case, all with a similar rainbow stripe aesthetic.

The Rainbow Shop also features some cheaper items including a plain white t-shirt with a small rainbow tag on the breast pocket and the Kate Spade New York logo in rainbow on the back for £29, as well as a pair of knitted sandal slides for £39.

The brand says: “Since our launch in 1993, we’ve always stood for optimism, joy and self-expression. Today, we’re committed to creating pieces that enhance what makes you, you.

“In celebration of Pride, we designed this capsule collection to continue these founding principles.”

Kate Spade New York has also confirmed that 20 per cent of net profits from the sale of the collection will be donated to The Trevor Project, to support the mental wellbeing of LGBT+ youth.

With Pride month kicking off on 1 June, it’s seen big name brands launch clothing collections to celebrate – and more importantly raise money for LGBT+ charities.
