Kaia Gerber Created a 90s-Inspired Shoe Collection With Jimmy Choo

Fashion, Fashion & Style

Kaia Gerber was just a few years shy from being a 90s baby, but with one of the biggest supermodels of 80s and 90s as her mother and a signature style of oversized sharp-shoulder blazers, high-waisted mom jeans, and crop tops, fashion’s it-girl has been doing her homework. Now, Kaia is adding another feat to her growing resume: a four-piece capsule collection with Jimmy Choo, the British luxury house that was founded in the 90s.

Kitten heels and boots make up Kaia’s Jimmy Choo collection. The model designed two snakeskin kitten heels—a black mule and a sling-back black-and-white pump—as well as a brown snakeskin lace-up combat and a tan suede cowboy boot.

“I jumped at the chance to work with Sandra [Choi, Jimmy Choo creative director] on my dream capsule of shoe and boot styles, it was such an honor to be able to brainstorm creatively and I am so thrilled with the result,” Kaia said in a press release. “I wanted an effortless on/off duty wardrobe that could work with any look in a color palette that talked to my Cali roots while adapting to any city, at any time anywhere.”

Jimmy Choo will debut Kaia’s full collection on Feb. 2. In addition to the collection, 15 percent of sales will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
