Though her medical team has given her hope to be at least a little forward-thinking. 

While she still struggles with a bit of double vision and gaining back the weight she lost while undergoing three craniotomies and four rounds of chemo, “My doctors have told me they don’t think it will recur, which is very reassuring,” Isabella said of her cancer. “I’m happy to be here. I think this year has made me stronger. The people in your life are what makes it enjoyable.”

And while she was tight with her Super Bowl-winning pop—also dad to daughter Tanita Strahan, 33, and Michael Strahan Jr., 30, with first wife Wanda Hutchins—before, he now makes it a point to huddle up with his squad whenever possible. 

“We’ve always been a close family, but this last year has given me some perspective,” the Good Morning America cohost acknowledged to Town & Country. “At the end of the day the most important thing is your kids, your family, your mom, your father, your other loved ones—and just to hold them close to you, and your friends as well.”
