Donald Trump’s gay niece, Mary Trump, mocked her uncle’s “desperation” after he began encouraging voters to vote by mail, a practice he has long claimed is fraudulent.
“Donald has been on a campaign against mail in voting, calling it cheating for years now, despite the fact that, of course, he always votes by mail,” she wrote on her blog, underscoring both his hypocrisy and his fear that the Democrats are likely to sweep the midterms.

She also mocked him for trying to bribe Americans with $5,000 checks should Republicans win this November. “Another promise of a check that will never come,” she said, adding that anyone who believes him is “probably also the kind of person who believes that public schools are doing gender reassignment surgery on little children, that oil and gas prices are going down, and that we have won the Iran War 17 times.”
