Young Thug has dropped his first verse since being released from jail in the autumn. The rapper appears with Future on Lil Baby’s track “Dum, Dumb, and Dumber,” which features on the latter’s brand-new album, Wham. Thug kicks off the second verse of the song, which was produced by Wheezy and Juke Wong. Check that out below.

Young Thug briefly nods to his recent incarceration on “Dum, Dumb, and Dumber,” rapping: “I don’t even believe I was locked up, for real.” Thug was arrested on racketeering and gang conspiracy charges in 2022. He was granted release from custody on October 31 of last year after pleading guilty to participating in criminal street gang activity. In addition to facilitating his release, the plea ended Thug’s role in the longest trial in Georgia history.

Lil Baby released Wham today (Friday, January 3). The 15-track album serves as the rapper’s first full-length since his 2022 LP It’s Only Me. Wham also includes cuts featuring 21 Savage, Travis Scott, Rod Wave and Rylo Rodriguez, and Glorilla. Lil Baby announced the new project early last month, subsequently promoting it with nation-wide billboards reading “Whatever Wham Say Goes”—a reference to a Young Thug post.
